Joseph Andrew Kukula, 65

Joseph Andrew Kukula, 65, DeLancey, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at UPMC-Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

He was born Nov. 23, 1945, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Frank and Margaret (Pluchinsky) Kukula.

Mr. Kukula was a laborer at BFG Electroplating in Punxsutawney, and he also worked for Don Young Contracting of Punxsutawney.

Surviving relatives include a niece, Bonnie Byerly; and four nephews, Donald Blose Jr., Gordon Tover Jr., Danny Toven and Todd Toven.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Kukula; two sisters, Evelyn (Blose) Adams and Rosemary Toven; and a niece, Mary Kay Blose.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Lloyd Getch officiating.

Interment will be in Adrian-Anita Roman Catholic Cemetery, DeLancey.
