John James Collier Jr., 28, of Rossiter, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.

He was born Nov. 9, 1983, in Punxsutawney, a son of John J. Collier Sr. and Linda (Bair) Collier, both of whom survive.

He was a roofer by trade.

He enjoyed time with his friends and family, and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and playing with the family pet, Cody.

In addition to his parents, surviving relatives include a brother, Thomas Collier and his girlfriend Lisa Adams; two sisters, Linda Collier of Punxsutawney, and Daisy Collier of Harrisburg; two nieces, Carmella Collier and Lixi Laska; seven uncles, Tom Collier of Pittsburgh, Robert Collier and wife Diane of Brookville, Ron Collier of Indiana, and Harry Bair and wife Doris, Joe Collier, and Frank Collier and wife Denise, all of Rossiter, and Norman Courson; and six aunts, Mrs. William (Marilyn) Bair of Punxsutawney, Peggy Collier and Jean Collier, Mrs. Duane (Sara) Johns, Mrs. Rick (Virginia) Shaffer, and Nancy Bair.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Alfred H. Kimmel officiating.

Interment will follow at the Rossiter Catholic Cemetery in Rossiter.

The family has requested that donations in memory of Mr. Collier be made to Daisy Collier, 211 Summer Lane, Enola, PA 17025.
