John Brudnock, 88

John Brudnock, 88, Inverness, Va., died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at home.
He was born in DeLancey, a son of the late Metro and Mary Catherine Brudnock.

His wife, Mary, preceded him in death in 2005.

He moved to Florida from Baden in 1973 and was a retired M/Sgt in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Brudnock graduated from Punxsutawney High School and was a former member of Baden Lions Club.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Jerry Brudnock of Inverness, and John B. Brudnock of Doral, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Reposing hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Charles E. Davis Funeral Home, Iverness.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery with military honors.
