Jessie A. Waggoner, 64, of Punxsutawney, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mrs. Waggoner was born April 17, 1948, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Ward Glen Manners and Lottie Mae (Riley) Manners.

She was married to Walter E. Waggoner, who survives, of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her husband, Walter, surviving relatives include two daughters, Judith Trask and husband John of Punxsutawney and Sharla McCughey and husband Sean of New York; a step-daughter, Brenda Waggoner-Kayser of Florida; a step-son, Mark Kenneth Waggoner of Tennessee; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Ronald Mort "Golden Child" of N. Tonawanda, N.Y.; her best friend, Barbara Fulford of N. Tonawanda, N.Y.; her aunt, Marie Travis; and several cousins and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Melanie Hallam.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Spiker officiating.

Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
