Jefferson County’s three participants in the NFL’s Punt, Pass & Kick event — (from left) Abby Jo Northey of Brookville, Laney Monroe of Punxsutawney and Blaise Carney of Reynoldsville — took part in the contest at the Steelers’ training facility on the South Side and then took the field at halftime during the Steelers versus Raiders game Sunday at Heinz Field. Abby Jo took second in the 10-and-11-year-old girls’ division, while Laney took third in the eight-and-nine-year-old girls’ division.
