Jefferson County has a new Dairy Princess

July 7, 2013

Toni Smith

BROOKVILLE — The Jefferson County Dairy Promotion Committee is pleased to announce that Toni Smith of Reynoldsville has been selected to
represent Jefferson County as the 2013-2014 Jefferson County Dairy Princess.

Toni was officially recognized at the Jefferson County Holstein Club’s Twilight Meeting held at Laurel Valley Dairy (Toni’s parents’ farm.)

Stefany Alexander, dairy ambassador, did the honors of placing Toni’s crown and sash.

Toni is the daughter of Brad Smith and Kelly Holt of Reynoldsville.

She has been an active 4-H member for 10 years.

Toni owns several dairy animals and also exhibits market steers and dairy feeder steers.

She will have her animals at the Jefferson County Fair the week of July 14, so stop and visit with her while enjoying the “hometown” fair.

Toni is a student at the Brockway Area High School, where she is president of the Brockway FFA.

Toni will be attending a training seminar in early July, and then she will be ready to provide programs to schools, community groups and other interested groups on the topic of dairy — the benefits and many varieties of dairy products that are truly available.

If any groups would like to schedule Toni for a program, please call
Susan at 814-849-7361 or email skm3@psu.edu
