Jeanette W. Craft, 93, Punxsutawney, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born June 30, 1918, in Mahaffey, a daughter of the late Stanley and Antonia (Sokolowski) Visnesky.
June 19, 1955, she married Paul W. Craft, who preceded her in death April 26, 1981.
She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Sykesville.
She was a private practice nurse, a farm wife and a personal investor.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Paul J. Craft and wife Esther (Kirkland) of Clymer and Clarence J. Craft and wife Susan (Pifer) of Houston, Texas; a close family friend, Bob Unsworth of Punxsutawney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, John Visnesky, Isaac Visnesky, Bernard Visnesky, and Joseph Visnesky; and six sisters, Chesuava Visnesky, Helen Sauk, Stella Durham, Sally Visnesky, Barbara Visnesky and Mary Pierce.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Fisher officiating.
Interment will be at Pleasant Hill U.B. Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
