Janice M. (Hetrick) Kuntz, 72, DuBois, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her home.

She was born Aug. 11, 1939, in DuBois, the only child of the late Harold F. and Edna Mae (Hickman) Hetrick.

June 30, 1967, in DuBois, she married Donald Walter Kuntz, who preceded her in death Aug. 10, 1994.

She graduated from Sandy High School in 1957 and attended DuBois Business College.

Mrs. Kuntz was Methodist by faith and attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church.

She was employed with Bi-Lo Riverside/ Penn-Traffic as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 94. Mrs. Kuntz enjoyed reading mystery novels and spending time with her friends.
Surviving relatives include a son, Donald Glenn Kuntz of DuBois; a daughter, Debra Ann Ferguson and husband, Ronald of Williamsport; and a grandson, Kyle Ferguson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois. An additional viewing will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 2, 2011.

A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the funeral chapel with the Rev. J. Chris Ramsey officiating.

Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
