James T. Payne, 63

James T. Payne, 63, Punxsutawney, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Earl and Nellie (Hobba) Payne.

He was a mechanic.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Melinda Pifer and husband Howard of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Hannah and Parker; two sisters, Theola Amundson of Punxsutawney and Maxine Novak of Wenonah, N.J.; and two brothers, Kenneth Payne of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and John Payne of Miami, Fla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Payne; and a sister, Alva Hunter.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
