James Stanley Vrobel, 50

James Stanley Vrobel, 50, Stump Creek, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at home.

He was born Sept. 27, 1961, in DuBois, a son of the late Jerome & Mary (Horzempa) Vrobel.

Mr. Vrobel was a graduate of Jefferson Technical School of Reynoldsville and earned his B.S. in electrical engineering from Penn State University.

He worked as an electrical engineer and a certified IR inspector.

Mr. Vrobel was born and raised in DuBois, and for several years, lived in North Carolina, and he had been back in the area the past two years.

He was a member of Parkview Primitive Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, N.C., and enjoyed being an outdoorsman, gardening, baking and Christian studies.

Surviving relatives include three sisters, Theresa McGrath of Drexel Hill, Patricia Vrobel of Portland, Ore., and Marianne Vrobel of Schenectady, N.Y.

Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home, Sykesville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, Sykesville.
