Imogene L. Wyant, 78

Imogene L. Wyant, 78, of New Bethlehem, died on Saturday evening, March 9, 2013, at Clarion Hospital.

She was born Aug. 30, 1934, in Dayton, a daughter of Frank W. and Esther (Syphrit) Powell.

She married Arthur Glenn Wyant on June 11, 1954, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2013.

She was a member of the Oakwood Presbyterian Church.

She worked for Rola Jensen and in the cafeteria at the Clarion Hospital.

She and her husband enjoyed going square dancing.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Imogene is survived by six grandchildren, Trenton Blose, Christopher Wyant, Lauren Wyant, Alana Wyant, Paula Johnston and Katie Pierce; a great-grandchild, Rylee Blose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Art, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Wyant; a brother, Joseph Powell; and two sisters, Norma Gruver and V. Ruth Marks.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Cyndy Dixon officiating.

Interment will be in the Squirrel Hill Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
