Howard G. Huey, 70, Glen Campbell, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney.

Mr. Huey was born March 14, 1941, in Glen Campbell, a son of the late Walter H. and Frances (Smith) Huey.

He was married to Mary L. (Engle) Huey, who survives, of Glen Campbell.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons; Jon G. Huey and wife Barbara of Glen Campbell, Joe Huey of Albion and Mark H. Huey and wife Candace of Westover; three daughters, Connie F. Huey and special friend Butch of Rossiter, Brenda L. Peters and husband Kevin of Glen Campbell and Mary Ann Pearce and husband Lenny of Rossiter; five brothers, Richard Huey of Smithport, Donald Huey of Glen Campbell, Thomas Huey of Glen Campbell, Daniel Huey of Gipsy and Ken Huey of Glen Campbell; five sisters; Mona Farmery of Smithport, Sonja Barnette of Punxsutawney, Shirley Shaffer of Big Run, Doris Glover of Oklahoma and Carol Powell of Commodore; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.       

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark H. Huey Jr.; and two brothers, Terry D. Huey and Wendell Huey.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Tina Keller officiating.

Interment is private.
