Hoops for Hope, the Punxsutawney Fire Department vs. Punxsutawney Borough Police Department fundraiser, was held Saturday evening at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center gymnasium to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The police (in blue) won the contest 55-50, but everyone was a winner in contributing to the cause.

Melissa McAfoos, event organizer, said everyone who participated in the event showed their dedication through hard work.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Relay for Life team Betty's Angels.
