HOOPIN’ FOR A CURE GAME TO TIP OFF MONDAY

Staff Writer

Have a case of cabin fever and are looking for something fun to do Monday evening? Why not make the trek to Chuck Daly Memorial Gymnasium to cheer on members of the Lady Chucks basketball team as they take on the Clarion Bobcats during the annual Hoopin' for a Cure game. The girls sold T-shirts prior to the game, and during the evening, there will be a bake sale and basket raffle. All proceeds will benefit Lisa's Ladybugs Patient Care Fund, a non-profit organization that helps families in the Punxsutawney area that are affected by cancer. Members of the Lady Chucks team are pictured here donning shirts that were sold for the game. The JV team will tip off at 6 p.m., with the varsity game tipping off at 7:30 p.m. (Photo by Rose Klaiber/The Punxsutawney Spirit)
