Herman Rehar, 83

Herman Rehar, 83, of Kramer, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Christ the King Manor after a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 21, 1929, in Penn Hills, a son of the late Anton and Jennie (Marincic) Rehar.

Mr. Rehar worked at Brockway Clay for 22 years and retired from the Reynoldsville Casket Company.

He served in the U.S. Army, 5th Armored Division, during the Korean Conflict.

He was Catholic by faith.

Mr. Rehar loved entertaining his friends by playing the accordion.

He lived most of his life in Kramer area and resided at the AM-PM Personal Care Home in De Lancey for the past 11 years.

Surviving relatives include a sister, Tillie Renosky of DuBois; a brother, Luttie Rehar of Kramer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mirko and William.

Friends were received Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in Sykesville.

Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the funeral home with Fr. Richard Allen officiating.

Interment will be at the A. B. V. M. Church Cemetery in Sykesville.
