Helen L. Bell, 80, Falls Creek, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Nelson's Golden Years, DuBois.

She was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (McMahan) Dorworth.

June 30, 1957, she married Robert D. Bell, who preceded her in death June 14, 2008.

Mrs. Bell graduated from Reynoldsville High School in 1949.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Bernard's Church in Falls Creek.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Bobbie Britton of Copperas Cove, Texas, Carol Janocha and husband Mark of Rossiter, and Susan Hergenrother and husband Matthew of Reynoldsville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Simbeck of St. Marys, and Betty Steele of Brookville; and a brother-in-law, George Bell of Reynoldsville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert M. Britton; and a sister, Jane Murray.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Tomasone officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
