PUNXSUTAWNEY — The members of the senior class at Punxsutawney Area High School have voted six of their fellow classmates onto this year’s King’s Court. The King’s Court ceremony will take place during halftime of tonight’s annual Powder Puff football game, which will kickoff at 6 p.m. at Jack F. LaMarca Stadium.

The students at PAHS vote for King’s Court in the same manner as Homecoming Queen’s Court and Winter Queen’s Court.

Each senior lists the names of six boys they want to see on the court. The twelve boys with the most votes then appear on a nominee’s lists, where students circle six out of the twelve to be representatives on court. From there, the six boys with the top vote count are featured on the court. The boy with the most votes is to be crowned king at the ceremony, and the boy with the second highest total will be crowned prince.
