Destiny Pifer/The Punxsutawney Spirit Groundhog Day provided a variety of entertainment for all ages, and for those seeking some education, crafts and maybe even a cup of hot cocoa, a trip to the historical society did just the trick.
The Punxsutawney Area Historical & Genealogical Society entertained visiting children with the Groundhog Story Walk.
Story boards from a book about Groundhog Day were lined across the wall, allowing children to hear the story while walking from board to board.
After the story, they were able to create and then take home Groundhog Day crafts.
Before leaving, each child got to pick out a book to take with him or her.
