Good news for those hoping for spring: The Peepers have peeped!

BIG RUN — The Big Run Peepers made their presence known on Wednesday, as they began to peep — signaling the beginning of spring.

Jeff London, the Big Run Peeper watcher, announced that at 2:50 p.m., he was out trimming a tree by the swamp located in back of his store — Big Run Carpet — when the tiny frogs the size of a fingernail began to peep.
