Glenna L. (Keefer) Smith, 76

Glenna L. (Keefer) Smith, 76, of McKean, Pa., and formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at St. Mary’s Home at Asbury Ridge.

She was born May 27, 1936, in Clarion, a daughter of the late R. Kenneth and Alice (Steffy) Keefer.

Glenna was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, crossword puzzles and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald R. Smith.

Survivors include her two daughters, Julia Roussos and her husband, Tony, of McKean and Karen Manganaro of Erie; three granddaughters, Sarah Karakaian and husband Nick of New York City, Katelyn Nies and husband Christopher of Philadelphia, and Megan Rainbow and husband
Andrew of Erie; a sister,

Donna J. Forringer of Niskayuna, N.Y.; a nephew, Jon Forringer; two nieces, Susan Forringer and Kathy Erbach; and her faithful canine companion, Fanny May.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 3856 W. 10th St., Erie, with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.

Interment will be private at Clarion Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Erie United Methodist Alliance, 1033 East 26th St., Erie, PA 16504.
