Glenn L. Leasure, 81, Brookville, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

He was born Feb. 16,1930, a son of the late Everett J. and Margaret (Wise) Leasure.

Mr. Leasure was a mechanic at General Electric. He was also employed at Sam Jack Drilling and Fairman Drilling.

Protestant in faith, Mr. Leasure attended the Albion EUB Church.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, his cats, his bunnies and working with his hands, especially doing mechanical work.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Helen Grimes of Massilon, Ohio; three nephews, Richard Anthony of Punxsutawney, and Steve Grimes and Michael Grimes, both of Massilon, Ohio; two nieces, Linda Carol and husband George of Summerville and Christine Bell of Mahaffey; four great-nieces, Julie Cantwell of Mililani, Hawaii., Holly Marusa of Marion Center, and Alycea Bell and Kayla Bell, both of Punxsutawney; a great-great-nephew, Nicholas VanTassel of Mililani, Hawaii.; and a great-great-niece, Madison VanTassel of Mililani, Hawaii.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Leasure and George Leasure; a sister, Florence Anthony; an infant brother; and an infant sister.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the funeral home, with Missionary Evangelist George Carol officiating.
