Glenn Allen Gwinn, 82

Glenn Allen Gwinn, 82, of Big Run, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at home.
Glenn was born Nov. 10, 1930, in West Virginia.

On July 30, 1954, he married the former Donna Jean Boucher. She survives and resides in Big Run.

He was a United States Navy veteran, having served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired after 28 years in the United States Navy in 1976.

He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching the games.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Susan Gwinn of Big Run and Caren LaRue and husband Stephen of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas Gwinn; four brothers, Dick, Pete, Jake and Jack Gwinn; and two sisters, Fran and Barb.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the chapel of Morningside Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Doug Wolfe.

Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

Interment will follow at Morningside Cemetery.
