Girls' golfers stay perfect at DuBois

DuBOIS — The Lady Chucks golfers continued their early season run of success by defeating DuBois, 228-242, behind Audrianna Delacour's round of 53 on Tuesday.

Punxsy improved to 4-0 and 2-0 in AML play.

Delacour recorded the best round of 53 in the dual match by a stroke over DuBois' Sarah Snyder. Her teammates, Lauren Giavedoni and Morgan McFarland were the next finishers with rounds of 56 and 58.

Finishing the Lady Chucks scorers on the day were Caroline Dunkel, with a 61, and both Lauren McGee and Sarah London posted scores of 63.

Julia Martino continued her solid play with a non-scoring 55. Kasey Prescott was the final Punxsy participant with a 68.

Punxsy stays on the road for a round today at Brockway beginning at 3 p.m.
