Friday marked the grand opening of Punxsutawney's newest store, Girl Friends.

The store is operated by friends Joyce Gunderson and Jennifer Frederick.

Both are wholesale reps who have been in the clothing business their whole lives. Their pink/white/black-themed store is filled with designer clothes, purses and jewelry.

"I was wandering through this town one day and just fell in love with it," said Gunderson.

The friends celebrated their grand opening with other friends and customers.

They would like to give a big thank you to the following people: Autumn Kunselman, Brice Musgrave, Cheyenne Hahn, Jacob Shultz, Judy Musgrave, Lauren Ball, Lou Ellen Cipolla, Warren Frederick, Vision Creative Solutions, Alexa Musgrave and Mr. Buck Weatherby.
