Rossiter Miners' first baseman Tyler Skerkavich dives safely into second base as the ball skips past NAPA Auto Parts' shortstop Mark Guthridge in the fourth inning of Thursday's game between the two squads. Despite his dirty uniform, though, Skerkavich and the rest of the Miners will have to wait until June 24 — during their breast cancer awareness tournament — to determine the outcome, as the game was called after a downpour in the bottom of the fifth inning made the field unplayable. Rossiter trailed NAPA 3-1 at the time, and the game will resume from that point — with a Miners' runner on first and no outs.
