Gertrude M. Bouch, 94

Gertrude M. Bouch, 94, of Mahaffey, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mrs. Bouch was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Murray and Alka (Baney) McClinsey.

Sept. 4, 1937, she married her husband, Paul Bouch, who preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1998.

Mrs. Bouch worked at the Clearfield Cheese Plant in Curwensville and operated her and her husband's dairy farm together.

She was Protestant by faith and loved to read her Bible every day.

She was a devoted and loving wife and mother.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved the outdoors, sewing and crocheting.

She will be remembered for her loving spirit and her love of family and friends.

Her smile will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

She is survived by one daughter, Louise Gigliotti and husband Richard, and one son, Sam Bouch and wife Lori, all of Mahaffey, RD 1; two sisters, Viola Covatch of Marion Center and Anna Mae McClinsey of Punxsutawney; three brothers, Howard McClinsey of Reynoldsville and Lewis McClinsey and Murry McClinsey, Jr. of N. Tonawanda, N.Y.; three
grandchildren, Michael Gigliotti and wife Heather of Walston, Lisa Williams of Walston and Brian Bouch of Pittsburgh; six great-grandchildren, Shane Williams, Amanda Williams, Jacinda Gigliotti, Giovanni Gigliotti, Jake Bouch and Zoey Robinson; two step-grandchildren, Rochelle Reitz and Tanner Reitz; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marlene; a son, Dickey Paul; three sisters, Ruth McClinsey, Larue McClinsey and Mary Louise Sturgeon; three infant sisters; and two brothers, Clarence McClinsey and Leroy McClinsey.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Price officiating.

Interment is private for family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bouch's name to the Mahaffey Fire Company and Mahaffey Ambulance.
