Geraldine Sara Porter died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Sara Braund.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Porter; mother of Michael, Kathleen and Daniel Porter, Susan (James) Mullins and Sean Porter; and sister of the late Patricia Johnston.Â
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Â
Relatives and friends are invited to Gerri's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, Md.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.Â
