George R. Hinely, 76

George R. Hinely, 76, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Anne Arundel Hospital in Annapolis, Md.

He was born May 6, 1935, in New York City.

Mr. Hinely was a supervisor with the Rola-Jensen Company in Punxsutawney and Lumberton, N.C.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Joyce Ann Thompson of Roanoke, Va.; two sons, George Michael Hinely of Raleigh, N.C., and Kenneth Raymond Hinely of Gambrills, Md.; five grandchildren, Sonya, Holly, Carolyn, Michael and Alexa; and two great-grandchildren, Daylynn and Hayden.

Funeral services are private, and interment will be at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Richmond Hill, Ga.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Punxsutawney chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
