Gayle L. Stewart, 72

Gayle L. Stewart, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Mahaffey, Pa., on Aug. 24, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Dr. David Edgar and Eunice (Smith) Miller.

She was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid football fan.

She was proud to be an alumni of Penn State University, where she earned her master’s degree in parks and recreation.

She is survived by two sons, Edward and wife Andreia, and Shaun and wife Michele; four siblings, David "Eddie" Miller, Dr. Culver Miller, Esther Chapman and Ellon Moore; two grandsons, Dakota and Tylor Stewart; one granddaughter, Destinee Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Mount Gretna United Methodist Church, Fourth & Boehm Avenues, P.O. Box 427, Mt. Gretna, PA 17064.
