It was a fun and eventful morning for many local youngsters who attended Punxsy Phil's Holiday Bash, held at Gobbler’s Knob. The event was held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday for children 12 and under and their parents.

A free lunch was provided for everyone, and children were able to make tons of crafts, play games and show off their cookie-decorating skills.

Children also were able to write a letter to Santa, with members of the Groundhog Club Inner Circle making sure those letters reach Santa.

Some children also made cards for elderly members in the community.
