Free Music in the Park concerts back in Barclay Square through August 22

PUNXSUTAWNEY — If you're missing the entertainment that came with the Groundhog Festival, then there's hope for you this week, as Music In the Park makes its 2013 debut with the band Crisis rockin' the park with classic rock starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Barclay Square.

Here's the schedule:

• Thursday, July 11 — Crisis — Classic rock

• Thursday, July 18 — Denny and the Gang (Sharp Tones)— 50s/60s

• Thursday, July 25 — Grampian Community Brass band with Randy Paul as the opening act.

• Sunday, July 28 — Miss B-Havin’ — Rock/Country (special time, 5-7 p.m.)
• Thursday, Aug. 1 — Mikey D — Polka

• Thursday, Aug. 8 — Ridin’ Shotgun — Country

• Thursday, Aug. 15 — The Moore Brothers — All styles

• Thursday, Aug. 22 — G3— Classic rock

* All shows run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

* Bring a lawn chair and/or picnic.

* Pizza, soda and water available.

* If inclement weather, performances will be held in the Punxsutawney Community Center.
