Fred E. Bell Jr., 67, went home to be with the Lord after a four-year battle with cancer.
Born to Fred E. Bell Sr. and Marian Alice Bell on Jan. 10, 1946, he spent most of his childhood in Punxsutawney and Pittsburgh.
He met his wife, Kathy, in Pittsburgh, and they were married Dec. 2, 1973.

Fred and Kathy retired to Arizona in 2010.
He was an avid hunter, could fix almost anything, enjoyed helping his friends and never expected anything in return.
He was most notably a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Surviving relatives include three beautiful daughters, Philomena Such, Roberta Coulter and husband Larry Coulter and Jamie Johnson; his wonderful grandchildren, Danielle Trank, Joshua Such, Brandon Sable, Sierra and Alexis Bell, Brooke, Ke-Aura, Gage and Gabby Johnson and Cierra and Logan Frampton; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Diamond Hill Cathedral Church, 500 Tingley Ave., Mansfield, Ohio.
