Francis R. Russell, 95, Brookville, formerly of Timblin, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville.

He was born April 17, 1916, in Emlenton, a son of the late James and Della (Porter) Russell.

He married Florence (Bennett) Russell, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Russell was a clergyman and a member of the Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Brookville.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Charles Russell of Cambridge Springs, Thomas M. Russell and wife Lorie of Brookville, Paul L. Russell and wife Judy, and Timothy E. Russell and wife Lindy, all of St. Petersburg; four daughters, Bertha M. Grace and husband Allen of Clendenin, W.Va., Ruth A. Pugh and husband Bruce of Spokane, Wa., Naomi L. Danser and husband Ken of Timblin, and Lois J. Bossman and husband Stewart of Staunton, Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
