The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is gearing up for the ninth
annual event to be held in Punxsutawney, with this year’s theme being
“Wizard of Oz: Follow the Yellow Brick Road to a Cure! There is no place
like Hope!" The Relay for Life is an event that brings together cancer survivors and loved ones for a day of bonding, celebrating life and remembering those whose lives have been lost to cancer. The event begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday in Barclay Square and will run until 11 p.m., when a closing ceremony will be held.
