Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday came an act of goodwill that will help out many in the community.

Thursday evening, Jeff Kuntz, chairman of the Community Focus Committee, presented checks to four individuals accepting on behalf of the organizations they represent.

Checks are distributed throughout the year through the Punxsutawney Education System to give money to organizations from which students benefit.
