Floyd James Kline Jr., 56, of Marion Center, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in Marion Center, Pa.

A son of Floyd James Kline Sr. and Harriet (Henderson) Kline, he was born Dec. 12, 1953, in DuBois.

Floyd was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifelong dirt track racer, car builder and mentor to a lot of racers. He worked by his son’s side at their business, “Dave Kline Motor Sports.” He loved his Harley and his dogs.

Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline M. (States) Kline of Marion Center; his parents, Floyd Sr. and Harriet Kline; three children: Christina Fairman and husband Jason of Punxsutawney; David Kline and fiancé Trudie Myers of Marion Center; and Angela Kline of Marion Center; five grandchildren: Tyler James, Emily, Rachel, Melina and Aidan; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Loyal and Della Henderson and Chuck and Birdie Kline; and a daughter-in-law, April (Pearce) Kline.

Family and friends will be received at the Harry J. Bence Funeral Home in Clymer on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, from 2 to 6 p.m. His funeral service will follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
