Florence Rosalind Greenblatt, 91

Florence Rosalind Greenblatt, 91, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Laurelbrooke Landing.

She was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Abraham and Jennifer (Brody) Pete.

March 28, 1942, she married Albert Greenblatt, who preceded her in death Oct. 30, 2006.

She was an avid Bridge player and also liked to read.

Surviving relatives include three children, Harriet Rash of Baltimore, Md., Lee Greenblatt of DuBois, and Sandra Greenblatt of Cranberry; seven grandchildren, Robert and Jeffrey Rash, Jason, Joshua and Aaron Greenblatt, and Michael and Richard Coon; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Lipner; and three brothers, Sam, Lester and William Pete.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the Shumaker Funeral Home Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Cloe.

Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Greenblatt's memory to WRC Senior Services, 985 Rt 28, Brookville, Pa. 15825.
