Fidella Annaledd (Pifer) Bishop, 69, of Rossiter, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois.

She was born May 6,1943, in Henderson Township, Jefferson County, a daughter of the late Leslie and Ruby (Shepler) Pifer.

She was married to Clair Bishop, who survives.

Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church in Punxsutawney.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include two sons, Russell Bishop and wife Jackie, and John Bishop and wife Jan of DuBois; a daughter, Nancy Bishop of Valier; a sister, Emma Jean Pifer of Reynoldsville; and a granddaughter, Anna Bishop of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Pifer and an infant brother; and a sister, Patty Pifer.

Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald J. Pendley officiating.

Interment will follow at the Pine Church Cemetery near Juneau.
