The Jefferson County Farm Bureau held its annual Rural Road Safety Day at Fezell's County Market on Tuesday to bring awareness to the dangerous conditions created when large or small farm equipment is traveling on the back and main roads, not only in Jefferson County but throughout the area.

The annual safety event is sponsored by Fezell's County Market, Kengersky Insurance, PennDOT District 10, PSP-Punxsutawney, Jefferson County Commissioners, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and Rep. Sam Smith, R-66th district.

Pictured are some of the participants in the event standing in front of a large tractor and wagon and a PSP/DOT large truck inspection vehicle.
