PUNXSUTAWNEY — Tami McFarland is a recognizable face. You may recognize her as the president of Punxsutawney Central Fire Department. Or perhaps you have seen her out with her fellow firefighters helping the community.

Born and raised in Punxsutawney, McFarland is a 1977 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.
