Bill Vassallo

(Editor’s note: This piece is one in a series of “Familiar Faces Friday” features to be written by Spirit reporter Destiny Pifer. The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s familiar face is Bill Vassallo.)

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Bill Vassallo is a recognizable face.

You may recognize him as the athletic director at Punxsutawney Area High School who often oversees the games, or perhaps he is most recognizable as the 9th-grade American history and world cultures teacher at PAHS.

Read about Vassallo in Friday's edition of The Spirit.
