The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s familiar face is Ann Himes Lott.)

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Ann Himes Lott is a familiar face. You may recognize her as a former caseworker for the Department of Public Welfare, now known as the Jefferson County Assistance Office.

Or perhaps you have seen her throughout the community, where she is a member of many different organizations.

Born in Punxsutawney and raised in Anita, Lott is a 1964 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School.
