The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s familiar face is Tammy Moore.)

ANITA — Tammy Moore is a familiar face. You may recognize her as a former employee at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital, where she worked for 14 years as a registration clerk for the ER.

Or perhaps you have seen her throughout the community. Moore was born in Punxsutawney and raised in Walston, and she is a 1987 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.

After graduation, she attended DuBois Business College, where she earned an associate’s degree in medical secretarial science.
