(Editor’s note: This piece is one in a series of “Familiar Faces Friday” features to be written by Spirit reporter Destiny Pifer.

The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community
who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Chrissy Clark is a familiar face. You may recognize her as one of the dental assistants at Punxsy Dental. Or perhaps you have seen her throughout the community.

Born and raised in Punxsutawney, Clark is a 1992 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.

After graduation, Clark obtained a work permit and was hired as a hostess at the former Astorino’s Restaurant.

After working at Astorino’s for a while, she then went to work at Wendy’s when it first came to town. Her experience at Wendy’s would greatly help her down the road.

Read all about Clark in Friday's edition of The Spirit.
