PUNXSUTAWNEY — Kyle Beatty is a familiar face. You may recognize him for his musical talents that he displays at a few local churches, or perhaps you have seen him throughout the community.

Beatty was born and raised in Punxsutawney. He has been home-schooled since the first grade and is currently home-schooling for college.

Beatty said is doing his home-schooling through International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and just graduated from his first course.

He is now a certified fitness trainer who plans to open his own business once he comes up with a name.
