Eva J. Anderson, 91, Anita, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Dec. 23, 1921, in Anita, a daughter of the late Carl Albert and Anna J. Anderson.

She was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church in Anita.

She graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School and was first employed at G.C. Murphy and then at Punxsutawney Hardware for most of her adult life.

Surviving relatives include a niece, Karla Cressley; three nephews, Dr. Thomas Cressley and wife Gloria, Charles Cressley and wife Deborah, and Scott Cressley and wife Gail; seven great-nephews; a great-niece; and a great-great niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Florinda A. Cressley.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
