Ellen L. (Hall) Lucas, 73, of Glen Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

The wife of Frederick Lucas and the daughter of Dave and Geneva (Kane) Hall, she was born on Jan. 3, 1941, in Clearfield.

Ellen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Glen Campbell.

She had been a den mother of the Cub Scout Troop based out of the former Banks-Canoe Twp. Elementary School.

Ellen belonged to the Homemaker’s Society and was the founder and Queen of the Classy Chassis chapter of the Red Hat Society.

A domestic engineer, Ellen was an exceptional cook and a collector of cookbooks.

She was an avid camper, who enjoyed going boating and going on RV trips with her family.

Ellen married her husband, Frederick, on Oct. 11, 1958. They shared 55 years of marriage together and raised three children.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick; their son, David Lucas; and their two daughters, Debra Keller and her husband Randy and their two sons, Troy and Bronson Keller, and Laura Edwards and her husband James and their two daughters, Elizabeth (Edwards) Davis and husband Adam and Rebecca Edwards.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.

Private arrangements are with the assistance of the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, Pa.
