Ella Mae Kunselman, 82

Ella Mae Kunselman, 82, Valier, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at home.
She was born April 22, 1929, in Big Run, the daughter of the late Charles M. and Grace (Conrad) Young.

Sept. 28, 1949, she married Charles L. Kunselman, who preceded her in death May 14, 2010.

Mrs. Kunselman was a member of the Valier United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for more than 30 years. She also volunteered at many of the church function. She was a member of the Christian Friends group. Mrs. Kunselman was a former bank teller employed by the National Bank of the Commonwealth.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Charles (Butch) Kunselman and wife Rebecca of Punxsutawney and Jeff Kunselman of Valier; a daughter, Linda Gould of Valier; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Luella Depp of Indiana and Dorothy Love Coroian of Punxsutawney; and two brothers, James Young and wife Kay of Cloe and David Young of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Kunselman was preceded in death by a son, Gary Michael Kunselman; and a sister, Margy Pearce.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Wolfe officiating.
Interment will be at Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville.

The Kunselman family has suggested that memorial contributions in memory of Ella Mae Kunselman would be greatly appreciated to the Valier United Methodist Church or the D.R.M.C. Hospice, P.O. Box 447, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
