Sometimes you can find support in the unlikeliest places and for one
courageous woman battling cancer, she found it at McDonald's. Marsha Elkin is currently in remission from a third battle with cancer. While stopping in at McDonald’s, she met up with a group of people who soon became not only friends but also a wonderful support group. Those friends are hosting a spaghetti benefit dinner from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the McCalmont Township Fire Hall in Anita. Pictured are Bob Black, Carol Gaston, Randy Redding and Elkin. Not pictured are Ed Gaston and Denny Napp.
