Elizabeth (Walker) Midock, 86

Elizabeth (Walker) Midock, 86, New Kensington, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Presbyterian Senior Care, Oakmont.

She was born May 4, 1925, in Anita, a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Jennie (Armstrong) Walker.

Oct. 18, 1947, she married Alexander Midock, who survives. They were married for 64 years.

Mrs. Midock was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include a son, Randall Midock and wife Paula of Stephens City, Va.; two daughters, Darlene Revell and husband John of Edinboro, and Deanna Skena and husband Gary of Monroeville; six grandchildren, Kim Aufman, Chad Skena, Michael Revell, Matthew Revell, McKenzie Midock and Hope Midock; five great-grandchildren, David Skena, Hunter Skena, Ally Aufman, Eddie Aufman, and Jackson Revell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Roy Walker, Thomas Walker Jr., Mildred Hoover, Ralph Walker, Janet Smith, Wesley Walker and Gilbert Walker.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at the funeral home with Fr. Wesley Mash and Pastor Garren Smith officiating.

Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
